About us
Humanity Trust is a non-profit organization founded in 1996 fully committed to the care, welfare and empowerment of people with Intellectual Disabilities (ID). The trust aims at rendering selfless dedicated service to the community of intellectually challenged people in order to uplift them to the mainstream of society, to empower them to live as fully participating members of the community and to build a happy future for them. We believe that by early detection, positive intervention, appropriate training and therapy, it is possible to enable people with ID to survive independently, enjoy life and prosper just like fellow human beings. Over the last two decades, we have successfully launched several sustainable initiatives and programs to positively impact the lives of people and the community.
Humanity Trust offers training programs for people with ID, aimed at social and economic independence. This includes special education, therapeutic intervention, pre-vocational and vocational training. We also offer speech, occupational and physiotherapy, counseling, behavior modification, diagnostics and assessment facilities, family counseling, life skills training, computer education, music and dance therapy, yoga and physical fitness and sports and other extracurricular activities. Humanity Trust is recognized by the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment - Govt. of India, Department of Social Welfare - Govt. of Kerala and is registered with the National trust.
